Access to Music is looking for a digital marketing specialist to develop and deliver its digital strategy, encompassing new course areas such as gaming and media, alongside its established music activities.
The successful candidate will become part of a national creative college that has been at the forefront of music education for over 20 years, inspiring learners looking to find a place within the music industry. We were rated ‘Good’, by Ofsted in 2016 and as ‘Outstanding’ by the Independent Schools Inspectorate in December 2014.
The post holder will lead the college’s digital marketing activities, generating and coordinating content via multi platforms in order to:
Engage with target audiences and consumers
Recruit, retain and engage students and alumni
Ensure consistency of message across Access to Music
Produce and disseminate engaging copy for PR and marketing purposes
A creative thinker, technically advanced, highly organised, and an effective communicator, you will have:
The ability to effectively use a wide variety of social media platforms simultaneously to engage with target demographics, individuals and groups
Experience of PPC campaign management and implementing SEO techniques
Knowledge of CMS Systems and use of Wordpress.
Creative copywriting skills appropriate for multiple audiences and platforms
Excellent proof reading skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
Numeracy and literacy qualifications at Level 2 (GCSE)
Ability to use own initiative and think creatively
Effective organisational skills, the ability to prioritise conflicting tasks for self and others and work efficiently
The ability to work flexibly and professionally in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures including equality and diversity, safeguarding and health and safety policies
Knowledge of the education (post 16) sector
Knowledge of Creative industries
Experience of off-line marketing.
Experience of wider communications, Press and PR.
